Hey everyone! I'm back w/ some of my maternity photos. This was supposed to be posted at the end of March/beginning of April, but if you've read this post you already know I gave birth to the Munchkin...a whole 6 weeks early! So I'm a little late in getting this out due to me recovering, etc. I took these photos at 31 weeks. I settled on 3 different outfits (actually I wore the same jeans for 2 of the fits).
I bought this at Ross literally the day before the shoot. It's a Vans dress which is crazy because I've never owned Vans anything! The dress was $6.99. It ties in the back with a black bow.
Then, I changed into my Burlington Coat Factory shirt. :D :D I found this a few days before the shoot. It was about $5. Score!!! I've been wanting a cute preggie shirt since I found out I was preggie. I wore these stretch skinny jeans because....they're the only ones that fit, lol. Flower was purchased at Michael's for $1.
Okay, so in my last outfit, I kept the same jeans on & put on this scarf/sarong type shirt so I could show off my stomach. My sis bought this for me years ago. I remember making it into a cute wrap around shirt when I was in college. You've even seen it on ETSS here. The orange flower was $1 at Michael's.

A while ago, I was online & I came across this online store called Sheyna. I peeked in & let me ya'll...I was floored with their beautiful jewelry. Wow. You look so beautiful. Just wait until your daughter is old enough to see these pics and understand what she's looking at. I'm sure she will cherish these pics for the rest of her life.
I am always thrilled when I find designer clothes in excellent condition at the thrift store. Last week I bought Worth jeans and top and a Cache top. They were .99 cents.

In thrift stores I like finding anything designer. We are living in a material world, and I am a material girl (c)Cyndi Lauper. LOL

My favorite thing to buy from thrift stores is jewlery/accessories. The more vintage it looks, the better. I like old buttons too. I try to collect cool, unique ones to decorate a denim jacket for an old school look.

when i go to thrift stores i look for vintage things.. like a blouse or purse.. or even jewlery. i find fashion back then was way more fierce than today b/c they werent scared to show different sides of fashion!

My favorite thing is to find a perfect shift dress or flowy dress! Oh and I also love hunting for a fabulous vintage clutch! I love one of a kind things and nothing beats a thrift store! (a good one, that is...)
I love to buy shorts at thrift shops. I also found a dress for my daughter for her middle school dance. I sew, and was able to hem it and take in the shoulder straps. $5!!!
What a beautiful pregnant woman you are! Those were happy days for me, and now, even better with 3 daughters!
I love to shop for furniture and accessories. You can do so much with paint and a change of knobs--even spraying a set of "tchotchkes" in a high-gloss white will make them look like Jonathan Adler specials!! lol
