Pajama Shirt Outfit

I was so frustrated while picking out clothes today. I couldn't find anything to wear. So I went into my usual "don't care" mode. I'm pleased with the results though.

Nine West Shoes I bought from Ross...

My wedding bracelet. :-) You may see this on here a lot.

This shirt is actually apart of a sleep set that I bought a long time. I hardly ever wear the pajamas now....

I don't what that is on the jeans. It wasn't there in real life. Maybe the flash?

Forever 21 Shopping Under $10

Okay I went to the mall today....and it was a set up from the get go. I parked right outside of the front entrance of Forever 21. Yep. I admit I shouldn't have done that. I love Forever 21. It is my absolute favorite clothing store. Every time I go I see so many pretty dresses, headbands, shoes, earrings, I mean the list goes on.

I know I'm in thrift mode, but that store........it's unexplainable. After being in there awhile, knee deep in flower headbands & cute spring dresses, I decided I should just leave immediately before I do something stupid like buy something. So....I headed toward the door and I stopped right before I got to the door. I couldn't believe my eyes. They had $2.50 tanks! $2.50!

That is definitely a steal. One tank top couldn't hurt right? So I picked up 2 in different colors and waltzed back over to the headbands & picked out a headband to get. I need a head accessory to go with at least one of the tanks right?

By this time, I'm feeling pretty good. Loving the "new clothes high"...After justifying my tanks & headband, I stand in the line. I'm thinking "man they're taking forever." So I started reflecting on how I'm supposed to be saving money & I'm in here buying clothes. Needless to say, I stepped out of the line, put everything back, and walked out of the store with my head down. Not because I was ashamed. I couldn't bear to look at anymore clothes for the fear I would go back & buy something. The hubs would be proud of me today. Today was an empowering day. So I'm happy. :-)

P.S. I will be back to buy those tanks when it get warmer (and I start working part-time). Just because I'm thrifting doesn't mean I will past up great deals like this.....a great deal is a great deal.

In the meantime, here's some other outfits that they have on super sales....all under $10...

Goodwill's Online Store

I found out about the Goodwill's online store awhile ago. A lazy thrift shopper's dream. ;-) You can check it at http://www.shopgoodwill.com/. It's like Ebay, but not as competitive. Here's some cute stuff they have to offer.

The current bid is at $4.00 for this Dooney & Burke purse.

Random, but I love wedding stuff. This Watters wedding dress is currently bidding for just $26!Hey, don't knock it. I purchased my wedding dress from Ebay. ;-) Watters is a great brand for wedding dresses.

A new Hale Bob dress bidding for $26. I hear these dresses retail for hundreds of dollars at http://www.halebob.com/ Loving the back. I'm a sucker for an interesting back....

Not sure how I feel about these shoes....but I wanted to post them anyway in case someone liked them. Bidding for $7. Fioni Black Patent Stack Heels.

Apt. 9 purse bidding for $5....this looks just like a purse I have....Such a cute person. It makes me think of summer.

Making Old Things New Again

This is a perfect example of making old things new again. :D Almost everything in this photo was free (somewhat). This is what I wore on my first trip to the thrift store down the street....

Earrings-I think they're from Forever 21....$4-5

Shirt-Free (courtesy of the hubs)

Belt- Bijoux Terner, one of my fave stores-$10

Jean Shorts-Christina, These were some jeans I cut in the 6th grade. My mother bought them so I don't know how much they cost, but it's safe to say she's got her money's worth! I've had them ever since...so I guess that means I've gained no weight since I was 11 years old? : \
