Happy Memorial Day! I've had such a great, relaxing weekend. It was definitely a #romperweekend. And the Miley Cyrus one was the first one I wore on Saturday. You'll remember this romper from here. When i first bought it, I was soooooo excited! And it was just $10. Thinking back I should've gotten another one. lol All of my rompers are completely different and that's what I wanted. I really wanted to wear this romper with some black heels and maybe a jacket, but I knew we'd be doing a lot of walking that day so i went with a more casual look. I will be jazzing this romper up though! (Sidenote: I wonder if they still have all 3 prints at Walmart....hmmmm.

Bracelets-From random beauty supply stores, $2

Necklace- It's so old, I don't remember where I got it....

Belt-Forever21, $5.80

Earrings- Don't remember where i got them, but i think it was Forever 21 for $3.80.

Same Walmart rubber flip-flops...

I Feel Pretty :-)

Yep, that's a birthmark on my knee. My mother said when I was a baby it was red.

This was my ensemble for Thursday. :-) I was really feeling this outfit. I mean really feeling it. I was talking to my mama today & she was telling me how when she would take us into thrift stores we wouldn't want anything. :0 My how the times change when you grow and get a little sense! lol

Flower Shirt- 579, $2.99 (YEP! They're having a $2.99 sale!)

Necklace- Bijoux Terner, $10 (seen in this post)

Dress- Ross, $13 I bought this in '08....and I love it! I will take a pic of it without anything on it in an upcoming outfit post.

Belt-Thrift store, $2.90 (& its a Liz Claiborne belt that feels brand new :D)

2 of the Reasons I Started ETSS

You may remember this dress from this post. This is my 2nd time wearing it. I thought I'd try something different with it. This shirt & dress are just 2 of the reasons I started ETSS. They were among my first items I bought from the Village Economy Thrift Store. :D The shirt is making it's 1st appearance here on the blog. I just realized I haven't been to that thrift store in awhile. : \ I need to get back out there.....And also find some new ones.

Break, breakdown...steady breaking me on down. I used to love that song by. Mariah Carey & B.O.N.E. Thugs-N-Harmony....#imhavingamoment. Anyway, on to the prices....

Necklace- ummmmmmm.....don't remember.....

And that's it. I really liked this look. The next time I wear it, I'm going to wear my hair wild. I would love the contrast of the hair & outfit. ;-)

Mellow Yellow

So I was going for a simple summer outfit yesterday. I just wanted to wear some light colors and a bright necklace. I didn't wear any bracelets because I didn't want to. Here's the breakdown:

Tank Top-Rave, $3-bought last June

Cropped pants- I can't remember where I got these but I know I bought them 6years ago. I know I got my money's worth though! :0

Necklace-Bijoux Terner, $10-It's actually supposed have a tighter fit around the neck. I unhooked the loop to make it longer. :-)

Shoes- My free Nine West heels again! :D These are some of my favorite shoes. So comfortable!

This was a pretty simple outfit. I really just put it together at the last minute because I wanted something comfortable. :o The brown skirt I have on doubles a dress too.

Shirt-I got this from F21 on sale for $10 I think about 1 & a half ago.

Skirt- Don't remember where I got this or the price. I just remember it was in '06. It was a dress, but I cut off the added stuff and made it a skirt. I still can wear it as a tube dress though...

Braided Belt- I don't remember anything about this belt! :0

Necklace- Same one from this post, Bijoux Terner, $10

Bracelet- a random beauty supply store, $1

Wooden earrings-Don't remember.....

And I wore my CR sandals! I would like to find some dark brown ones and black ones too.

What I Wore to the Little Brother Concert

It's crazy because I just showed you guys a pic of when I wore it last November. This is only my 2nd time wearing this dress. Like I said in the other post, I bought this dress from F21 for $10.

The Venus 10 Way Convertible Dress

This dress retails at Venus for $39. I figure i'll wear this dress in at least 6 of the 10 ways so that's $6.50 for each look. Not bad...

There's even a cool video that shows you how to do each of the looks. This could be a great bridesmaids dress if your colors are turquoise & black. :-) At $39 that's not a bad deal for bridesmaids AND they could wear the dress again. I'm all for individuality. My Maid of Honor and bridesmaids all had on different dresses. I let them pick which ever dress they wanted to wear in David's Bridal. It just had to be canary yellow. I wanted them to have more control since it was their money. Ya know?

I promise I should be a Forever 21 spokesmodel. :0 As much as I promote them....what can I say? lol.....but for real...this dress is $6.99 & it comes in red, black, purple, & teal. It reminds me of a dress I bought from F21 back in November for a party....here it is. It was $10 I think. It's not satin though...




I love the pockets on it! :D Last night, I was telling my husband that I never was this into clothes & he said, "You always had it in you though." LOL I guess he was right...
